What is MissCaps?
MissCaps is a privacy-first missed-contact switch for important private messages. You create a capsule now, and it is delivered only if you stop checking in past your miss days.
Can MissCaps read my capsule content?
MissCaps is designed so content is encrypted on-device before upload. Our servers store ciphertext rather than readable plaintext, so the platform is not built to handle your private capsule content as normal readable data.
How is MissCaps different from scheduled email or notes apps?
Scheduled tools send at a preset time. MissCaps is built for conditional delivery: missed-check-in logic, on-device encryption, recipient verification, optional Secondary Confirmer, and blockchain-based integrity proof in one flow.
What does “miss days” mean?
“Miss days” is the number of days you can go without checking in before MissCaps treats your capsule as eligible for delivery.
Is MissCaps a legal will, emergency alert, or medical service?
No. MissCaps is a private conditional-delivery product. It should not be treated as a substitute for legal wills, estate planning, emergency response, medical alerting, or other time-critical instructions that require guaranteed delivery.
Does reading articles count as check-in?
Yes. When you read news or articles inside MissCaps, it can count as activity for the day. You can also use the manual activity button. As long as activity is recorded before your miss-days threshold is reached, your capsules stay sealed.

Does delivery happen immediately after I miss one check-in?
No. Missing one check-in does not instantly send a capsule. Delivery starts only after your configured miss-days threshold is reached, and your flow may include additional checks such as recipient verification or an optional Secondary Confirmer.
What is Secondary Confirmer?
Secondary Confirmer is an optional trusted person you add to help reduce false triggers. It adds a human confirmation layer for situations where you want extra caution before delivery.
What if I forget my Privacy PIN?
If you saved your recovery codes, you can use one to reset your Privacy PIN without losing encrypted data. If you lose both your PIN and your recovery codes, the encrypted content cannot be recovered.
What are recovery codes?
Recovery codes are one-time backup codes you save when setting up your Privacy PIN. They exist to reduce lockout risk if you forget the PIN later.
Can recipients open capsules without verification?
MissCaps is built around a claim and verification flow before content unlocks. The goal is to help make sure delivery reaches the intended person rather than anyone who happens to see a link.
Why does MissCaps include blockchain proof?
Blockchain proof is an extra integrity layer, not the main value proposition. It helps recipients verify that capsule content was not silently changed after creation.
Can I try MissCaps before paying?
Yes. Experience Mode lets you safely try the core flow before upgrading for real long-term entrustment. Some advanced capabilities are reserved for paid plans.
